The Florida Bar & Facebook

The Florida Bar News (9/1/09)  Jan Pudlow reports in an article titled "On Facebook?  FBBE May Be Planning a Visit" that the Florida Board of Bar Examiners may be expanding their background investigation of applicants to the Florida to Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites.  Specifically, they would be looking for evidence of bad behavior, substance abuse, dishonesty, unlicensed practice of law, and other behavior unbecoming a Florida attorney.  To read the FBBE's full repose to the Character and Fitness Commision's report, go to www.floridasupremecourt.org.
